Whether you’re a commercial operator or private boat owner, we ensure every order is handled with professionalism, care, and transparency.
Where We Ship
We proudly ship to:
- All 50 U.S. States and U.S. territories
- Most international destinations (subject to shipping eligibility and customs clearance)
Our distribution center is based in Sandusky, Ohio, ensuring strategic access for nationwide and overseas shipping.
Order Processing Time
- In-stock items (including select engines and generators): Ship within 1–3 business days
- Custom-ordered or backordered products: Typically ship within 5–15 business days
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST or on weekends/holidays are processed the next business day
You’ll receive a confirmation email with estimated delivery timelines shortly after your order is confirmed.
Shipping Methods
Marine Inboard Engines & Marine Generators
All engine and generator shipments are classified as freight shipments due to their size and weight.
We use trusted freight partners to deliver these products:
- Freight (LTL or FTL) with curbside delivery
- Liftgate service available upon request (fees may apply)
- Palletized, secured, and insured for safe delivery
- Signature required at delivery point
Smaller Accessories or Parts
- Shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground
- Expedited and overnight shipping options available upon request
International Shipping
We support international shipping for our marine engines and generators to select destinations.
- Shipping quotes are provided at checkout or through a custom freight quote
- International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and brokerage fees
- All international shipments must be prepaid and shipped via trackable, insured freight carriers
Marine Inboard Specialists does not reimburse import-related fees.
Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive:
- A shipping confirmation email
- A tracking number and carrier link
- Freight shipments may include a Bill of Lading (BOL) and estimated delivery window
You can also track your shipment by logging into your customer account.
Important Freight Delivery Notes
- Delivery is to the nearest accessible curb or dock
- You or an authorized recipient must be present to inspect and sign for the delivery
- Inspect all shipments upon delivery and report any visible damage before signing
- Damages not reported on the delivery receipt may void the carrier’s liability
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is returned to us due to:
- Refusal to pay duties or import taxes
- Incorrect shipping address
- Absence during scheduled freight delivery
The buyer will be responsible for:
- Return shipping fees
- Original shipping charges (non-refundable)
- Any restocking fees (if applicable)
